Kementerian Sosial Melalui Balai Karya Bahagia Medan Hadir, DA Tersenyum Membawa Bayinya Pulang

MEDAN, (14 Mei 2021) – Balai Karya Bahagia Medan mendapat laporan mengenai seorang Ibu dengan inisal DA yang melahirkan di RS Full Bethesda yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Sunggal, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, namun tidak diijinkan pulang karena terkendala pelunasan biaya operasi pada Rabu (12/05).

Kepala Balai Karya Bahagia Medan, Sumarno Sri Wibowo menugaskan dua Pekerja Sosial yaitu Maidinse Hutasoit dan Bambang Thesia untuk menindaklanjuti permasalahan tersebut. Tim kemudian menuju RS Full Bethesda.

                                                                                                 Koordinasi Pekerja Sosial di lapangan

Suami DA yang berinisial B telah melakukan upaya bernegosiasi dengan rumah sakit dan akan mencicil setiap bulan. Upaya ini tidak membuahkan hasil. Selain itu B juga berkomunikasi dengan Kepala Dusun dan JPKP (Jaringan Pendamping Kebijakan Pembangunan) untuk menjembatani mediasi dengan rumah sakit. B juga mencoba mengurus SKTM (Surat Keterangan Tidak Mampu) dengan harapan rumah sakit memberikan keringanan biaya. Pemerintah setempat seperti Kepala Dusun, Kepala Desa, dan Camat mencoba bernegosiasi namun pihak Rumah Sakit bersikukuh agar B dan DA membayar jaminan sebesar biaya operasi. Organisasi JPKP PIC Sumatera Utara pun ikut membantu namun belum membuahkan hasil, hingga akhirnya meminta bantuan pihak Balai Karya Bahagia Medan untuk menindaklanjuti kasus tersebut.

Pekerja Sosial dari Balai Karya Bahagia berkomunikasi dan melaksanakan asesmen terhadap keluarga pasien untuk mengetahui secara pasti permasalahan yang terjadi. Selanjutnya pekerja sosial juga mencoba berkomunikasi dengan pihak Rumah Sakit melalui Humas untuk melaksanakan mediasi dan negosiasi terkait permasalahan yang menimpa Ibu DA.

                                                                                                 Penandatanganan Surat Kesepakatan

Pekerja sosial bersama beberapa pihak, yaitu Sekretaris Desa, JPKP, Babinsa melaksanakan mediasi dan negosiasi dengan pihak Rumah Sakit untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dialami oleh DA. Hasil upaya mediasi dan negosiasi ditindaklanjuti dalam bentuk surat kesepakatan bersama yang ditandatangani oleh para saksi dari setiap unsur yang hadir yaitu Balai Karya Bahagia Medan, JPKP, Sekretaris Desa, Babinsa dan 3 (tiga) orang dari pihak rumah sakit meliputi pengacara dan bagian administrasi.

                                                                             Penjelasan Mengenai Surat Kesepakatan

Berdasarkan kesepakatan tersebut, DA dan bayinya diijinkan pulang. Keluarga merasa bahagia dan lega karena DA dan bayinya diijinkan pulang oleh pihak rumah sakit.
